The vision of the Hard Places Community is to bring hope to the hopeless in the darkest corners of the world. We are honored to partner with their vision, as our family yearns to love, disciple and restore wherever the Lord leads us.
Our family will be partnering with Hard Places in the capitol city of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. HPC also does work in India and is expanding to Madagascar, Greece, and the Philippines. In all of these locations, HPC works to see justice prevail, pain redeemed, hope reborn, and life restored in the hearts of those whom the world has deemed to be most broken. On the streets of Phenom Penh we will be working with HPC by supporting existing outreaches with an emphasis on bringing administrative leadership, offering pastoral support to their Khmer staff, and building systems that better empower the Khmer nationals to love individuals and seek restorative justice. |
As we look out over the next 3-5 months, our family will be focusing on transitioning to Cambodia, which includes continuing to work state side while paying off school loans, spending time with family, support raising, spending a month at culture school in Colorado, and managing the details related to an international move.
Once in Cambodia, our focus will turn to adjusting as a family to living in Phenom Penh and taking language school full time for 6 months. Currently, we plan to put Harper and Ember into an international school near to where we will all be living together; allowing for both Aaron and Megan to give more time to HPC while the girls are at school. Please follow our families BLOG for continued details and updates on what it looks like for us to partner with what the Lord is already doing through HPC. |
